Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Marcelo Plácido (Vektra), tax number (NIF) 264625226, based in Ericeira, Lisboa. For anything related to privacy, use the contact form on this website.
What we collect
Only what you give us in the contact form: your name, email or phone number, your message and, if you choose, your business, team size, budget and the estimate from the calculator.
This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track your browsing.
What we use it for
To reply to your request and, if it makes sense, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We don’t use your data for advertising and never pass it on to third parties.
If we wrote to you first
We sometimes write to businesses to introduce our services. We only use business contact details published by the company itself, on its website or on OpenStreetMap, and keep only what we need: company name, sector, town, email address and the page where we found it.
We only do this with legal persons (companies), as allowed by Article 13-A of Portuguese Law 41/2004, based on our legitimate interest in making our work known (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Before writing, we check the opt-out list kept by the Portuguese Directorate-General for Consumers.
We send at most two messages. If you reply “remove”, we stop and keep only your address on an exclusion list, so that we never write again. Everything else is deleted 12 months after the last contact.
Who we share it with
With the providers that make this possible: website hosting (Vercel) and our email service (Google). These services may process data outside the European Union; when they do, it is under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
If we don’t go ahead with a project, we keep the conversation for up to 12 months after the last contact and then delete it. If we do, we keep what’s needed for as long as we work together and for the periods required by law.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. Just contact us as described above. We reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and only the people handling your request can see your messages.
